Our
Programs
At the heart of our work lies a deep commitment to building communities that are resilient, food-secure, and environmentally sustainable.
Through our integrated programs, we empower farmers, households, and local institutions to adapt to climate change, improve nutrition, and enhance livelihoods using innovative, inclusive, and sustainable approaches.
1.Climate Resilient Agriculture
Climate change is reshaping how communities grow food, manage resources, and sustain livelihoods. Our Climate Resilient Agriculture program helps farmers adapt to changing weather patterns, restore degraded lands, and strengthen food and income security.
We promote climate-smart and regenerative farming practices that increase productivity while protecting the environment.
Our activities include:
- Training farmers in climate-smart and conservation agriculture
- Promoting drought-tolerant and high-yield crop varieties
- Supporting soil fertility and water management practices
- Establishing demonstration farms and farmer field schools
- Enhancing access to climate information and early warning systems
By combining traditional knowledge with modern innovation, we help smallholder farmers reduce risk, increase yields, and build resilience to climate shocks.
2. Sustainable Food Systems & Nutrition
Food systems are the backbone of livelihoods, health, and environmental sustainability. Our Sustainable Food Systems & Nutrition program focuses on transforming local food value chains to be inclusive, resilient, and nutrition-sensitive.
We work with farmers, women, and youth to strengthen food production, processing, and distribution systems that ensure equitable access to nutritious food while safeguarding natural resources.
Key interventions include:
- Promoting agro ecological and regenerative farming practices
- Enhancing post-harvest handling and reducing food loss
- Strengthening local markets and farmer cooperatives
- Supporting women and youth in agribusiness and value addition
- Raising awareness on balanced diets and nutrition education
Our goal is to ensure that communities not only grow enough food—but also consume nutritious, diverse, and locally sourced diets that support health and wellbeing.
3.Renewable Energy for Agriculture
Access to clean and affordable energy is vital for transforming rural livelihoods and reducing carbon emissions.
Our Renewable Energy for Agriculture program introduces sustainable energy solutions that power productivity and protect the planet.
We support communities and farmers to adopt renewable technologies that enhance agricultural efficiency, reduce costs, and open new economic opportunities.
Our initiatives include:
- Solar-powered irrigation and water pumping systems
- Solar dryers and cold storage for reducing post-harvest losses
- Biogas and clean cooking solutions for rural households
- Capacity building for youth-led renewable energy enterprises
- Partnerships for scaling up green energy access
By linking energy with agriculture, we help create resilient, low-carbon food systems that contribute to climate action and sustainable development.
4.WASH & Resilient Communities
Clean water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) are fundamental to human health, dignity, and resilience. Our WASH & Resilient Communities program ensures access to safe water, improved sanitation, and hygiene education especially in vulnerable and climate-affected areas.
We integrate WASH with climate resilience to help communities manage water resources sustainably and prepare for droughts and floods.
Our program components include:
- Construction and rehabilitation of community water systems
- Promotion of household and institutional sanitation facilities
- Hygiene behavior change and awareness campaigns
- Community-based water resource management and watershed protection
- Climate-adaptive infrastructure for schools and health centers
Through this integrated approach, we build healthy, empowered, and climate-resilient communities capable of sustaining growth and well-being.
5.Policy & Advocacy
Sustainable change requires enabling policies, strong institutions, and informed citizens. Our Policy & Advocacy program amplifies community voices and drives evidence-based decision-making for resilient development.
We work with policymakers, civil society, and private sector partners to shape inclusive policies that address climate change, food security, and sustainable livelihoods.
Our advocacy focuses on:
- Influencing policy reforms that promote climate-smart and sustainable agriculture
- Strengthening institutional capacity for climate and environmental governance
- Facilitating dialogue between communities, government, and stakeholders
- Sharing knowledge, data, and best practices through research and partnerships
- Promoting youth and women’s participation in policy processes
By bridging grassroots action and policy change, we help create an enabling environment where communities can thrive in the face of global challenges.
